After waiting one month and a half, it was at last my first ride on Julie3. I had booked a track day on the Indy circuit of Brands Hatch (the smallest loop). It was a great day, the motorbike works very well. The difference with a 600 engine is not huge, but thanks to injection I think, I feel that the motorbike reacts more quickly.

As it was told us, James Toseland, the current Superbike world champion, was here during the DesmoDue launch party in the Sports Cafe, London. This party, organized by the DSC in partnership with Ducati South London, allowed me to meet Chris, the organizer of the series. It also gave Julie the opportunity to get pictures which upset me ;o)

Be careful, it is nearly naked, it's not for the faint-hearted! Julie3 is ready to race, I think I will only invest in a few new fairing elements (sides and oil catching stuff) and, then, to have it repaint in black, like my Furygan leathers.

Après un mois et demi d'attente, aujourd'hui fut enfin ma première sortie aux guidons de Julie3. Je nous avais réservé pour l'occasion une journée complète de piste sur le circuit Indy de Brands Hatch (la plus petit boucle). Ce fut une excellente journée, la moto marche super bien. Effectivement la différence avec un moteur 600 à carbus n'est pas énorme, mais grâce à l'injection je trouve que la moto répond beaucoup plus rapidement.

Comme convenu, James Toseland, l'actuel champion du monde de Superbike, était présent lors de la soirée de lancement du trophée DesmoDue, au Sports Cafe à Londres. Cette soirée, organisée par le Ducati Sporting Club en partenariat avec la concession Ducati South London, m'a permis de renconter Chris, l'organisateur du trophée. Et ça a également permis à Julie de faire des photos qui m'énervent ;o)
